Leigh Fortuna

Leigh graduated from UBC in 2005, and spent almost 10 years working with patients with chronic pain as part of an interdisciplinary team.  She joined Diane Lee & Associates in 2017. Leigh was first exposed to the Integrated Systems Model in 2009 and did a few short courses with Diane Lee over the next couple of years.  Inspired to change her career path and approach with patients, she completed the Series in 2017 and now uses this approach to integrate orthopaedics, acupuncture/dry needling, women’s health and pain management skills and techniques.

Daisuke Tatara

Daisuke Tatara      多々良 大輔   I graduated from the Kawasaki Junior College of Rehabilitation in 1997. I used to engage in a physiotherapy for hemiplagia. after stroke. Lately I work at Fukuoka Shion Hospital and see people with orthopedic disorders like spine, knee or shoulder problems. I have learned about the Integrated System approach for several years and began assisting Diane on her courses in Japan in 2014. Yasumitsu Umeda

Yasumitsu Umeda  梅田泰光 Yasumitsu qualified to be a junior ISM assistant in October 2017. I graduated from the Fukuoka International Medical Welfare College in 2004 and have been involved in physical therapy in the acute and recovery orthopedic field. I work for at Chikugo City Hospital in Fukuoka and see patients with degenerative diseases of knee joints, sports injuries and general trauma. I began taking courses with Diane Lee in 2007 and have studied all of the materials pertaining to the Integrated Systems Model. Kjersti Malinsky

Kjersti Malinski is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Master of Physical Therapy program. Kjersti is a lifelong fitness enthusiast who enjoys training for marathons, swimming, road biking and hiking. She strives to help others find their passion for physical activity by volunteering as a pace group leader for half marathon training clinics. Kjersti’s ultimate goal is to help others get involved and stay involved in physical activity. Kjersti’s treatment philosophy is to maintain a balance of fun, variety and patient-focused goals in rehabilitation. Calvin Wong

Calvin graduated with his Bachelors of Kinesiology from McMaster University in 2008. During his time at McMaster, Calvin worked with various varsity teams including tennis, squash, badminton and volleyball providing field-side coverage for practices, games and tournaments. He went on to pursue his physical therapy degree, and in 2010 Calvin graduated with his Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. Since graduating, Calvin decided to cultivate his skills in orthopedic practice and has pursued post-graduate training with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, Gunn IMS, and the Upledger Institute for CranioSacral techniques.
