Eric has been practising Physiotherapy since 2006. He received his Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney, Australia and began his career working in Australia in a private clinic alongside two Physiotherapists with advanced training through the Australia Institute for Sport which allowed Eric to gain valuable experience in working with Rugby, Soccer, and Aussie Rules Football clubs. He continued his work with sports teams, when returning home to Vancouver, and has had ongoing experience working with athletes and clubs in tennis, soccer, lacrosse, and football. Eric's ongoing professional development has seen him gain experience in working with clients dealing with chronic pain, traumatic, and repetitive strain injuries. Eric has his certificate in anatomical Acupuncture (through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute) and additional studies in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Mulligan’s joint mobility technique, and utilizes the strength and conditioning background he attained during his Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology with a variety of conditions seen in clinic. His areas of interest include sporting injuries, corrective posture and movement rehabilitation, and upper/lower limb injuries. Outside of the clinic Eric has achieved his second degree black belt in Shotokan Karate for which he has competed internationally and instructed in this field for five years. Recreationally he has an ongoing passion for Tennis, Hockey, and backcountry Skiing, although this all comes second to his most cherished passion - his family.
