David Emsley

David Emsley David graduated from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh with a Masters in Physiotherapy in 2003, this followed on from his BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from Birmingham University. His learning journey lead him to completing the Sports Pelvis course and the Sports Thorax course prior to completing the ISM Series in 2009. He has had the pleasure of assisting Diane on courses including the ISM Series and various short courses in the UK on several occasions since. He is passionate about learning about the body as well as passing on knowledge gained in integrating the approach over several years of practice. His indulgence in all sports has been tempered recently by the arrival of young family members, but he still tries to find time for squash, tennis and general fitness.

Simon Greene

Simon Greene Simon brings a wealth of knowledge from his work and life experiences in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and the U.K. He graduated with honours with a Bachelor of Podiatry Degree from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2000.  He then returned to university in 2002 and also graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI) with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy. He has successfully merged his Podiatry and Physiotherapy into his work practices in Dublin, and highlights his passion for physiotherapy by regularly assisting on ISM courses in Ireland and the UK. Simon has a great interest in current and new practices within the area of health and wellbeing and thus can appreciate the importance of updating knowledge and skills through CPD on a regular basis. Daisuke Tatara

Daisuke Tatara      多々良 大輔   I graduated from the Kawasaki Junior College of Rehabilitation in 1997. I used to engage in a physiotherapy for hemiplagia. after stroke. Lately I work at Fukuoka Shion Hospital and see people with orthopedic disorders like spine, knee or shoulder problems. I have learned about the Integrated System approach for several years and began assisting Diane on her courses in Japan in 2014. The theme which I’m most interested in is physiotherapy for spinal degenerative disease.   1997年に川崎リハビリテーション学院を卒業した後、脳卒中後の片麻痺に対する理学療法に携わり、現在は福岡志恩病院で脊椎、膝関節、肩関節における整形外科医療に従事しています。 これまで胸郭や骨盤,下肢,頭頸部・肩甲帯の統合システムモデルについて学んできました。最も興味があるのは成人脊椎変性疾患です。

Yasumitsu Umeda

Yasumitsu Umeda  梅田泰光 Yasumitsu qualified to be a junior ISM assistant in October 2017. I graduated from the Fukuoka International Medical Welfare College in 2004 and have been involved in physical therapy in the acute and recovery orthopedic field. I work for at Chikugo City Hospital in Fukuoka and see patients with degenerative diseases of knee joints, sports injuries and general trauma. I began taking courses with Diane Lee in 2007 and have studied all of the materials pertaining to the Integrated Systems Model. I enjoy providing the assessments and treatments tailored to each patient using the ISM approach.   2004年に福岡国際医療福祉学院を卒業し、急性期と回復期の整形外科領域の理学療法に携わってきました。現在は、福岡県にある筑後市立病院で、膝関節の変性疾患やスポーツ外傷、一般外傷に対する理学療法を行っています。2007年からDiane Lee 先生のコースを学び始め、これまで胸郭や骨盤,下肢,頭頸部・肩甲帯における統合システムアプローチを学んできました。これまで学んできた統合システムアプローチを用いて、患者個々に合わせた評価・治療を提供してきたいと考えています。

Trish Gipson

Trish Gipson Trish graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, and then from McMaster University with a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences (Physiotherapy). She is certified as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy, as well as with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. She has also taken extensive post-graduate training in pre/post natal care and pelvic health. Trish has completed her certification in the Integrated Systems Model with Diane Lee, and is honored to join the assisting team. Trish has experience working with people of all age and fitness abilities, but has a special interest in treating pelvic floor disorders and working with new moms and moms-to-be. In her spare time Trish enjoys running, playing volleyball, doing yoga and snowboarding, and spending time with her family.

Brent Yamashita

Brent Yamashita, PT, MPT, CFMT, FFMT, FAAOMPT Brent Yamashita earned his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from California State University of Fresno in 1997.  He is Certified in Functional Manual Therapy through the Institute of Physical Art (IPA) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.  He has taken an eclectic approach to PT and an abundance of continuing education, with the hopes that this wealth and variety of learning may benefit that “one” patient.  His patients include professional dancers, snow sport enthusiasts ranging from youth to the Olympic development levels, high school to 80 year old athletes, those with chronic pain, and those that want to improve their posture, function, and quality of life.
