Trina Lee Physio for Life and Physio for Seniors
I have always loved posture and movement, and this led me to becoming a Physiotherapist. My foundation in ballet (11 years), gymnastics (6 years) and now figure skating (34 years) has grounded me in the understanding of alignment, movement and balance. With this background, I love to understand, analyze and optimize movement involved in exercises, sports and outdoor activities such as gym workouts, running, ice hockey, racket sports, golf, figure skating, paddling, swimming and climbing to name a few.
I have taken numerous courses on the biomechanics of the golf swing, golf swing analysis, injury prevention, treatment and performance enhancement. My treatment for golfers includes using ISM and identifying swing faults that contribute to injury and reduced performance.
Taking ISM was a game-changer in my approach to physiotherapy. It helped me consider the person as a whole and find strategic, targeted ways to relieve pain as quickly as possible.
My experience has taught me that a holistic whole body alignment and movement approach plays a pivotal role in:
1) effective pain management – symptoms can reduce by 50-100% within 1 to 3 sessions
2) smooth and effortless movement
3) improving posture and balance
4) enhancing physical performance
5) injury prevention
Balance, equilibrium and integration are key aspects to good spiritual, emotional mental, social and physical health. I am truly passionate about helping people out of pain, to achieve better mobility, and get the most out of their physical health.
