Alishah Merchant

Alishah graduated in 2007 from McMaster University’s Physiotherapy program. Since then, she has engaged in a variety of post graduate education courses including but not limited to the Diane Lee ISM Series, Manual therapy courses, Gunn IMS, acupuncture, Pilates and many more.

Alishah has developed her practice and treatment skills to help individuals with stubborn orthopaedic conditions. She enjoys complex cases. Many of her patients come to her after having seen many medical practitioners and other physiotherapists feeling hopeless. Alishah loves to re-inspire her patients, give them confidence in movement again and provides treatment methods that help them move forward again.

Alishah is passionate about physiotherapy. She loves teaching and mentoring her colleagues and enjoys taking courses to advance her knowledge and clinical skills. Outside of the clinic, Alishah enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, yoga, and working out. She keeps busy with her three young kids and loves staying active with her family. She is a self proclaimed foodie and loves trying new restaurants around the city as well.
