Series Feedback
We asked past participants a series of questions regarding clinical mentorship in the Integrated Systems Model. Here’s what they had to say:
- Question:
What is the value of the in person portion of this course?
- Response #1:
“The in person course is simply amazing. It’s a unique opportunity to see how Diane practices and clinically reasons. She has years of clinical experience and international research and she definitely lives what she teaches. It’s so important to have mentors in our journey to help people, I know and am thankful for choosing to take the wonderful and rare opportunity to learn by real life example of Diane’s clinical knowledge. Being in the classroom and have her brainstorm with you, correct you, learn in a kinesthetic and not just theoretical way – is an irreplicable opportunity for a physiotherapist and definitely a stepping stone in one’s practical knowledge growth.”
- Question:
What is the value of the online video and article support for each part of this class?
- Response #1:
“It’s amazing how much work went into putting together a video library of this quality. It’s very helpful to watch and have ongoing access to all the videos Diane and her team created. I watched them all before class, and then tried techniques on patients before showing up to learn them in person, as this helped me formulate what questions I may have and what I still need to make sense of. I would also go back to the videos over the notes to revisit the technique learned and clarify details of performing them correctly (whether it is an assessment skill or treatment). They were very helpful to review right before seeing a patient that would fit the profile of the technique aimed to assess or treat a patient’s specific problem.”
- Question:
Do you find the ISM Flow course of value since completing the ISM Series?
- Response #1:
“The ISM Flow online course pulls techniques from various sections of the ISM Series and does a highlight reel of what you need to focus on when practicing ISM.”
- Question:
Did you find the cohort forum and the daily/weekly support it provided between the in class parts helpful for your clinical reasoning and integration of ISM into YOUR practice?
- Response #1:
“The forum facilitated clinical reasoning and also encouraged communal learning as well as gave us a sense of ownership over the case presented. Peer questions and feedback, learning from their reasoning and the guidance of the facilitators were all very valuable.”
I highly recommend the courses that Diane and her associates offer!
If you ask me, Diane Lee and her highly skilled associates offer the best training there is out there today for physiotherapists. I highly recommend taking her courses, it has been the best decision I have made in my professional career. I am forever thankful for all the work Diane and her associates have done, making the knowledge accessible so that others can learn and evolve.
ISM Flow
Thanks, this is a great course for reviewing ISM!

A brilliant resource to take all Series Graduates to the new level and guide them to using and developing the framework. Thank you Diane, and Courtney.
This is amazing!
Thank you so much Diane, this is amazing! Again thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us, this has been the best thing I could have done for my career and longevity as a Physio
Fantastic Resource
A great collection of really specific videos. Clear and concise. A perfect go-to for any of the techniques that you are unsure of, and a great revision tool for the ISM principles.
Great synthesis!
Amazing to have all aspects of the ISM assessment in one place. Well organized and easy to follow. Well done!
ISM Online Prep Part 1
Lots of great supplemental videos and targeted reading from the required texts to help guide and prepare for the in person course. It will be valuable tools to also look back on when using these skills in the clinic.
Great resource
Great thorough job on this course including multiple processing/learning styles.
EVIDENCED INFORMED, EXPERIENTIALLY RICH, WHOLE PERSON THERAPY OF THE FUTURE
Cannot give enough praise for the dedication, passion expertise and care that has gone into this live workshop! This is the ONLY way to comprehensively learn and experience therapeutic touch at the highest level to leave no stone unturned in one’s evaluation which then leads to the best treatment approach. Highest kudos to Diane Lee and her amazing team and cannot wait for the next series! Highly recommended!!
Wow !
Can not recommend the course enough – The amount of information and teaching available through the website is quite staggering and the practical and theoretical component during the offline part of the course is more than enough to begin embarking on a whole new journey into evaluating and treating clients. Unfortunately I only have one lifetime to try and assimilate just 50% of what is here !
I had even more clarity, depth and understanding reviewing all of this material again after the in-person course session!
Excellent materials that apply to my clinical practice and deepen my comprehension.
Excellent supplementary material to the face to face learning, highly relevant to my clinical practice, adding so much to my depth of understanding.
An Holistic approach to the human body
The course is an eyes opener to the complexity of the human body, a truly and holistic approach to injury rehabilirtation
FU1- Mind blown
The course content and continued support from Dianne, Stu and Cathy has been amazing.I have already learned so much and it is constantly changing how I assess treat and manage my clients
Part 2 Online Prep
The design of the support material for each hands on component. It guides you through the book and breaks down the material for different learning styles and manageable amounts that can be completed at your own pace.
We need this as a profession
There was a lot of review from the Level 5 in the Orthopedic Division AIM program, but then this takes assessment to a whole new level. Frankly, this is where we need to go as a profession. Articular assessment and treatment is not a stand-alone, and this course opens so many avenues toward treating the body as a whole and finding connective and contractile tissue vectors, and then considering which ones cause versus react to the movement of bones. I have been chasing bones out of alignment and some muscles in tone, but I had no framework to figure out which were the culprits. I’ve been hit-and-miss and mostly treating (and re-treating) the victim muscles. Even after more than 20 yrs in practice, I needed this. Wish I had had time to do it sooner.
Simply Amazing!
Thank you to Diane and her support team. The principles of this Integrated Systems Model provides direction and clarity to the complexity of the restoration of the human body systems to which we as Physiotherapists are challenged every day.. we are all unique, which is where the ISM is so wonderful in that it puts the individual and their issues into the centre of the picture, from there you learn to figure the why’s. Why’s is it doing something different, what is causing it to be out of alignment, why is there non optimal mechanics going on. This course provides you with the tools to learn how to look for the answers of some of these why’s, it then helps you prioritise and decide which factors will provide be best outcomes for your clients. This part 2 is a fully supported course which builds on the principle taught in part 1. The course preparation work, the live course itself and the supported interactive case studies provide plentiful time to learn and consolidate the principles and you are taught. Excellent assessment strategies and further treatment techniques are taught as the course progresses. It really is simply amazing. I highly recommend it to all Physiotherapists. I’m really looking forward to Part 3!
Part 2 ISM Vancouver
Over delivered and under promised on the most extensive library of valuable, practical content that I have ever experienced! Thank you!!
Part 2 ISM Sydney
Excellent online resources that complements the face to face learning. This course has added so much depth to my clinical assessment, particularly with my more complex patients.
ISM - finally, a structed comprehensive system!
This is truly an amazing system. This has vastly improved my patient outcomes and with this job satisfaction. To be able to clearly explain with biomechanics to patients why they are getting their pain and guide them on the road to recovery has been a rewarding experience! Thankyou Diane and all involved. Looking forward to Part 3!
5 Stars
I can’t begin to explain how much im getting out of the course, support and support material

The Abdominal Wall & Diastasis Rectus Abdominis
The course met my expectations. A lot of interesting and new informations. I highly recommended .
Excellent course
Excellent course, a lot of valuable information and good support material of the book.
Amazing course which brings the body connections to another level!
Every day of this course is like opening a treasure chest, so much fun, so much to keep learning. Valuable incites this time (part 3) into the foot and the cranium. Consolidation of knowledge, but with a new perspective on how to use this knowledge. I really appreciate the encouragement to have the solid reasoning process required, and remaining curious and open to how the body can respond.
Can’t wait to really get practicing now. It’s amazing to have a support team just a ‘click’ away! I can’t thank Diane and her team enough. You’re all amazing! Thank you.
BEST course ever!
I have taken many courses over many years and can say without hesitation that this is one of the best! Research informed but based on decades of solid practice based evidence, Diane Lee, Cathy and Brittany leave no stone unturned in their relentless search for the driver(s) of pain & dysfunction. Their passion & devotion to the highest level of teaching made this total experience from Part 1-3 unforgettable. Thank you all for the love and intelligence of what you do!!!
A game changer
Completing the ISM course has been an absolute game changer. Like Diane explained on day one, it allows you to assess the body to find the true driver and then pull what ever skill you have in your toolbox out when you need it.
The course design, flow and delivery is second to none and I would encourage any physio of any ability to do it. I can confidently say that it has changed my career projection with what it will allow me to do.
