8:30 – 12:30 Diane Lee
Topic: The articular system and the thorax. Have you noticed that drivers are harder to find in older folks, or athletic “warriors”? Often this is because the joints of the spine and rib cage are truly stiff and a manual correction is not possible. This morning will integrate articular systems tests with ISM ‘find the driver’ tests and bring a deeper level of understanding of the biomechanical model of the thorax (Lee D 2015).
1:30 – 3:30 Chelsea Lee (Diane Lee & Associates and Chelsea Lee Yoga therapist)
Topic: ISM Yoga for the thorax. This will be a movement practice that integrates thoracic ring corrections and therapeutic Yoga poses and progresses for restoring better posture and function of the thorax.
